The actress and powerhouse singer shared the photos of her newest hairstyle on her Instagram account recently. Speaking of pioneers, Brandy is the artist who consistently wore her hair in braids and really introduced mainstream TV audiences to the style. The star of the BET show The Game wore them on her album covers after starting her recording career at age 14. She later sported braids throughout her tenure on the TV show Thea and later  on her long running hit show Moesha.
