When the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo de Rivera was married to muralist Diego Rivera, they had a tumultuous relationship.

Both famous in their own right, the relationship created beautiful works of art.

Our modern day Frida, FKA Twigs, dons the flowers in her braids as she deals with her own fame (her three art/music/dance concerts,Congregata, were sold out in New York this week), the twittersphere hate and the reality of dating Robert Pattinson.
